New domain

My web sites have a new home: http://chrisnekarda.com/. Please update your bookmarks.

Economic indicators

I created a new page with automated “real-time” graphs of several economic time series. It draws on publicly-available data on interest rates, prices, durable goods and retail sales. The graphs are updated as new data become available.

Archives working

The extended live archive plugin is now working. ELA functionality was disabled in K2′s default archive page because the currently-available version of ELA (0.10beta R18) calls tables that were depreciated in WP 2.3. However, thanks to this patch and a little code hacking all is working again.

Adding content

I’ve started moving the old econ site over to the new location. I’ve also modified the K2 theme more to my liking and created some UCSD-themed banner images.

Upgraded

I just upgraded the IAE server to W2K3 SP2 and PHP 2.5.2. While at it, I upgraded to WordPress 2.3.1 and K2 RC3.

Site update

I have updated significant portions of the web site. I have added my CV and a new research page, complete with links to economic research tools. I’ve also freshened up the style.

Fall TA: Econ 158A

I am one of two teaching assistants for Economics 158A with Professor Michael Bernstein. Information about my section times and office hours are now posted on my Econ 158A course web page.

New web site

A new quarter has begun and, with it, a new weber web site. It is very much under construction, so please bear with me.
